Hughes Design is a London-based graphic design and web-building business.

Incorporated by Mike Hughes and Julia Bramson in late 2004, we have built a reputation for creativity without attitude, big agency expertise, competitive rates and affinity. So whether we’re building content managed websites or designing printed communications – we believe in building long term relationships with our clients. This means we endeavour at all times to supply value – value which in turn becomes integral to each others long term success.

What we do

We specialise in three key areas of communications - Digital, Art and Words - which combined make for formidable brand and marketing communications.

Digital

Websites, microsites, intranets, banners, skyscrapers, MPUs, HTML email marketing - it’s all digital - and it’s all in our area of our expertise. We’ll tweak the HTML, finesse the PHP, embedd the CSS and guarantee it’s W3C... too techie? Okay, we’ll build your website to the highest standards, using appropriate techniques to ensure it’s built to your specification. All of our digital work is bespoke in design, reflecting the character of your business.

Art

Design for print, design for web, it all requires art direction. How you present information about your company or service can make or break the deal. Whether you are advertising above, below, through or on-line, your message needs to be delivered clearly. Brochures need to be memorable and your website should reinforce your core messages. We understand that your design communications need to be presented in a visually compelling fashion.

Words

A picture may paint a thousand words. But take an image, add a killer phrase and you’ve hatched a memorable campaign. We understand that great copy is key to effective communications. Be it advertorials, brochures, websites, HTML email, postcards, beer mats or a press release - these communications, plus a plethora of others, can all become more effective with the creative application and targeted delivery from our armoury of “words”.
